When your mind slows and you are relaxed, you can concentrate on the tension escaping your body. Think about the tension oozing from your body and vanishing into the air. Start with your toes and work your way up to your legs, midsection, back, hands, fingers, neck, and head. You should feel completely relaxed.

Continue to practice deep breathing to keep yourself relaxed. As you are slowly and deeply breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth, you will need to make sure that your eyes are closed. Your body must be approximately completely calm at this position.

Imagine yourself slowly stepping into a beautiful body of water. Imagine this is going on while you are stepping down ten gorgeous steps. Once you get down midway, your are going to start stepping into the water. Make sure that the exercise is enjoyable, so that you feel relaxed. See the numbers as vividly as you can in your mind while you step lower. For example, you will start with ten and end at one. You will be completely drowned into the water at last step.

Now you will be ready to believe in what you would like to do. You may want to imagine swimming toward boxes as you try to meet your goals or convince yourself, with the positive affirmations in the boxes. Linger in the stream as long as you feel is indispensable, but 30 minutes to an hour is generally excellent enough to attain what you crave.

When you are finished, imagine yourself either walking back up the steps or opening a door that leads back to your life. During the whole routine think positively. You will want this to be a positive time for you. Make sure that you bring yourself “back” very slowly, possibly over a period of five to ten minutes, depending on how relaxed you are.

This process may take a couple of times to master, but remember that practice makes perfect. If there is hard to believe you are demanding to attain in life such as drop weight, relinquish smoking, or just improve your self esteem, it can be done during self-hypnosis
