Is Plastic Surgery Like Visiting the Opticians?
For a huge amount of years cosmetic surgery is really something that is quite frowned upon, a lot of people have ethical reasons as to why plastic surgery should not be done. But the world is developing and things are changing. Global superstars all over the world are literally becoming obsessed with finding the perfect image, which they are going and getting their plastic surgery done on a monthly basis.
This has led to it becoming much more accepted throughout the world, besides that another reason that has made plastic surgery become so popular is the fact that it literally is much more affordable then it once was. Around a decade ago the only people that could really afford surgery were the rich and wealthy, now you can probably get a nose job done for around £1000.
This leads me to ask the question as to whether or not cosmetic surgery has become a normal and accepted procedure, like visiting the dentist. Personally I do not think that it has as of yet but I believe that within the next decade or so we will begin to see it become like that. I mean folk will be getting plastic surgery at young ages if they think they have something wrong with their complex.
Plastic surgery stores will open all across the nation, just as we have opticians and people will be able to walk in and book to get a new nose or Breast Augmentation and it will be booked in for a small amount of money because there will be so many different companies competing. In the future everyone is possibly going to look 100% perfect and the ones that do not have the plastic surgery are in fact going to feel like outcasts. The human body will make itself look how it wants too.
