Getting the Chemicals in Our Environment Out of Our Bodies
Several years back an article on the front page of the San Diego Union Tribune announced the finding of rocket fuel in milk. Yes, you read that right, I did say rocket fuel. I was stunned by this and shared it with a friend. My friend didn’t think it was a big deal, and honestly, I think I found that more surprising. Because, of course, people put milk in their bodies and therefore, they are putting rocket fuel in their bodies, sometimes several times each day. Well, you understand…
Later, I learned that this same person believed that the chlorine that municipalities put in the water was both not harmful to drink and was actually helpful in making us clean while bathing. At first I was sure that this was a joke, but I was assured it was not. Sometimes you just have to shake your head a little bit.
Unfortunately, though, I think it’s common practice for people today to dramatically underestimate the damage caused to our bodies by putting such chemicals inside our bodies. And I believe it’s also common for people to underestimate and just not to be aware of all of the hidden sources of dangerous chemicals, like in milk and so many more.
Unfortunately, our bodies aren’t designed to be able to handle all of these chemicals, so we don’t just effectively eliminate them - we end up storing a lot of them. And the assertion that all of these man-made chemicals are safe in the body is laughable. Seriously, how would anyone know for an absolute valid fact that any of these chemicals are safe in the body?
Most of the chemicals that are common in the body haven’t even been around for long, so it would have been impossible for any real or valid studies to have looked at the effects of time, accumulation, and the combination of the chemicals with other chemicals from other sources that have also become trapped in the body. Or, for that matter, if all of these chemicals trapped in the body have any effects on the next generation. Or generations after that. It simply hasn’t been done, or has it?
At the same time that so many chemicals used in and on our bodies has increased, health problems in individuals have also increased astronomically. They’re rising so quickly you can almost watch it happen. Not too long ago, it was estimated that a third of the population would have a problem with cancer. Now, it’s estimated that half of the population will have a problem with cancer.
In fact, you could look at our society as a whole, with the increase in both the number of common chemicals used in and on our bodies, and the dramatic rise in health problems and say conclusively: We’ve conducted one giant experiment, with the participation of an entire culture. Regrettably, we’ve found that without a doubt, the use and accumulation of unnatural chemicals in and on the body absolutely causes problems. Although often times, you don’t see the problems right away which is unfortunately why we didn’t make the connection sooner.
The only question left is: Do we want to keep up with this experiment? Or do we want to spend some time deeply cleansing our bodies with colon cleansing to remove all of these stored chemicals and dramatically curtail their use - in general? Do we want to end this experiment or do we want to let people and generations just keep getting sicker and sicker? It’s our choice entirely: Which will we choose?
